Auntie Lou's
Plates by BRIK - Auntie Lou's.
Marketplace, Stockport, SK1 1EW
This one is lovely to feature, it takes real authenticity to come into a sacred space aka the markets and actually Deliver!
That is exactly what Emily and her team at Auntie Lou's have done.
There will always be skepticism when new meets old, change is scary but this just works and she deserves to have a long and successful residency!
It belongs which is so important in a space that serves the people of Stockport. There is real consideration to her plates and offering, it's proper food!
The menu is simple, quality produce put together well, real comfort food inspired from her Irish and English grandmothers. The generation that treated every problem with a good solid meal. Cups made by her mother, family affair vibe.
On the menu that morning :
- Sausage Roll & Ketchup
- Irish stew
- Cheese & Onion Toastie
- Pork & Apple Roll.
- Toast, butter & Jam
- Beef & Guinness Pie.
- Chocolate Chip Cookie.
The team are absolutely wonderful, the menu is constantly evolving and it's great value for money (which is rare to say these days)
Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 9am-4pm.
If you have not paid a visit yet, get your arse down. Stop by the other vendors and show some love.
Keep doing what you are doing girls, we love you!
